How does Core Exchange work?

Cores – A core return allows you to return a used part to recover a fee paid when purchasing a replacement part. Cores must be returned within 30 days by mail, or you can bring it to us in-person.


Here are some tips for returning a core:


  • Cleanliness – Cores should be reasonably clean of dirt, grease, and oil.
  • Packaging – Cores should be wrapped in plastic, paper or cardboard to keep the core from shifting during transport.
  • Shipping – Use a shipping carrier that offers package tracking. You are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Documentation – Include a packing list with your order number, name and phone number and a brief description of your core return in the box.
  • Condition – Cores must be rebuildable. Cores with broken shafts, cracked housings, or broken major components will not be accepted.

How quickly will I receive my order?

Well that all depends, doesn't it? Most parts will ship out within 1 business day of your order. Some of our parts require special shipping, restoration, or reconditioning, which may take longer. Once your part ships, you will receive tracking information in your email so you can closely follow along as our special delivery makes its way to you.

These clips are exactly what I needed

These clips are exactly what I have been trying to find. All of the other clips were too short to work with my trim. I had to remove the window to replace the weatherstripping and there were several that had rusted or were broke removing the trim. I feel that these are as close to NOS as a person can get. Not only are the parts exactly what I needed but they arrived before I expected. I will being using Southeast Chevy Parts again.

Very happy with the product

I was replacing the back glass gasket in my '64 Biscayne sedan and looked everywhere for the correct trim clips. After comparing all the available products these seemed like best option, and they were. The cost is a little more than others, but they're the exact same design as OEM and the fit is perfect. Very happy with the product and I'll definitely be coming back with any other restoration part needs.

Worth it and save a buck

After getting the clips, my son and I pulled rear window out to replace with the new clips I received. Upon inspection and comparing the ones I had over the new ones I received. I can see why the rear molding would not snap into place. The clips I received from you all were about 1/8 inch longer and had a different style spring on the clip to hold chrome window molding in place. Believe me when I say this made everything come together a whole lot easier. Make sure you educate yourself before buying just anything to save a buck. Thanks Jason

Clips were perfect

Clips were perfect! Solved the rear trim assembly issue. Should have found these sooner instead of cheap knock offs that didn't fit. They have gain a new customer for sure. JG
